I’ve always had a love for the American Saddlebred Horse. The American Saddlebred Horse has athleticism, braveness, a beauty unlike any other and a heart to bond with their rider. My love for the Sport horse side of the breed opened up in the late 90’s when I purchased a half American Saddlebred, Shilo’s Something Special (Shilo) and a full American Saddlebred, When Pigs Fly (Whendy). It was apparent early on that Whendy was not going to be a traditional show ring American Saddlebred saddleseat show horse. Whendy and I began venturing out into the world of dressage, jumping and eventing. This is the mare who started it all, who embraced a Warrior Spirit and has inspired Warrior Sporthorses.
