About Us
It All Started with a Love of the American Saddlebred Sporthorse
The American Saddlebred horse is known for it’s presence and beauty in the show ring, the “Peacock”of the showring. Saddlebreds are talented in both the traditional saddleseat show ring as well as in sport horse disciplines. American Saddlebreds are starting to bloom in the Breed Hunter Ring and outside sporthorse disciplines.

Saddlebreds provide Athletic Partners that are full of Beauty and Heart
Rebecca has been riding since she could walk and grew up showing American Saddlebred Horses. As an adult, her love of the breed has only grown deeper. She purchased a very green broke 2 year mare at the Tattersalles sale, because she said “that’s when I’ll get a horse at this sale, is When Pigs Fly”. When Pigs Fly, Whendy, soon became Rebecca’s Heart horse. The two earned numerous local, state and national awards through their years of competitions. Whendy was the most versatile of American Saddlebreds; she showed Saddleseat, Huntseat, Western, Jumpers, Hunters, Eventing, competitive trail riding, cow sorting, barrels and poles (although not quick). Whendy had a huge heart and was willing to do just about anything Rebecca asked of her. Whendy was a Warrior, she pushed though things that were unseen to Rebecca and fulfilled a longtime dream of Rebecca’s, to show at the St. Louis Charity Horse show in Hunter over fences. Rebecca and Whendy accomplished this with a second place ribbon and came home and started down their eventing path. Whendy was diagnosed, within the next year, with a degenerative bone disease of her cervical spine. She was moved to Meadowcreek Farm to live out her final days on Rebecca’s mother farm, where she would have the best of care. Whendy kissed Rebecca goodbye and walked away, Rebecca knew it was time to release her friend. It was one of the hardest things she ever had to do, but vowed to never forget the beautiful chestnut mare who was a true Warrior of the Heart. Whendy inspired Rebecca at start Warrior Sporthorses – everyone has a warrior inside. Rebecca has found that most American Saddlebreds are Warriors at Heart, once you ride one, you will fall in love too. Let Warrior Sporthorses help you find your next partner.
